DETECT AND REMOVE VIRUS FROM USB PENDRIVES WITHOUT ANTIVIRUS

Friends, you may be in the search of removing the virus from the USB pen drives & some hard disks without using any Anti-virus software. Ya.. There is a technique for this. Now we can see it in step by step manner.

Step 1: Before Inserting the USB drive, go to Tools --> Folder Options

Step 2: Then go to View tab and then select "Show hidden file and folders"& uncheck the two check boxes below to that. This is shown in the snap here,

When you do this, there will be a verification

Step 3: Hold the Left Shift, when you insert the USB pen-drive drive. (Don't take off ur hands from the shift key until the steps are over)

Step 4: Then open the USB pen-drive through address bar.

Step 5: Now you can view the virus in the USB pen-drive with .exe extension and  hidden format.

Step6: Just delete those virus files.

Note: After doing this process, Step 2 should be done in reverse way.

Enjoy the virus free world..!!!!

  1. Oh thanks so much I managed to remove the Recycler, Recycled virus from my USB Drive withour an Antivirus, earlier I had tried to remove it with Kaspersy 2011 but it failed. That was brilliant indeed. I will recommend your blog to my friends.

However, I do have the same problem on my external HDD and the viruses are:
    RECYCLED
    $RECYCLED
    SYSTEM
    SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION
I suspect these files to be viruses because when I click on Recycled/$Recycled it opens with a BIN Icon file and when I click it inside I see a file that startswith "S-1-" then continues with a long number and commas" The same with SYSTEM folder also.
But when I click on "system Volume Information" it refuses to open. And when I try to delete any of them a notice pops up and says it is in use by another program. Please help me!

  2. First of all thanks for your comment here dude :) .. In case of Windows operating Sysytems, there will be system folders in the name of
    RECYCLED
    $RECYCLED
    SYSTEM
    SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION..

U dnt hav to worry abt those things..They dnt damage your system..

Even if u hav some doubts regarding that I suggest you to use, updated Antivirus Programs for this. Cause it's difficult for we people to analyse the system files than the SOftware Programs.. :)
