Now a days social networking plays a main role in each and every one's life. Especially Google's Orkut is Rising up. Last week My friend called me and asked about a spam script(which changes his about me page). These are the attacks used to hack your password. Finally he found a solution for this and shared with me.
How it attacks:
In some others profiles(already attacked profiles), you may found some links showing "FREE MOBILE RECHARGE" , "NEW ORKUT SEX VERSION FROM GOOGLE". If you click on that link and signed in with that page, you profile be hacked your and the about me in your profile will be changed to some indecent links. You may attempt to change your about me details, but after few minutes, it will automatically changes to previous indecent lines.
How to Solve this Problem :
After The Attack, your profile will be like shown below,
cli.gs/0rkutsex] <-- Click Here And Login To See New Orkut Sex[Changed By Google]
OR
It makes your profile looks worst for your friends and family members. Now there are two steps to resolve this,
- Goto https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccount?hl=en Then click on change password and change your password
- After changing your password, Edit your About me details.. Then It will not change.. That's all..
While using Orkut Don't click on some links, which you don't trust
