AFTER REBOOT MOUSE POINTER DOES NOT MOVE - FIX IT

Hi friends,
Last week, i had a problem. when i restarted my computer my mouse pointer doesn't move. I was searching for the reason why it happened. The reason was simple, updating the driver software did this to my computer. how to fix this prolblem??? I have given some solutions here

  • It's very simple..before updating your driver, creating a restore point and resuming it,if there is problem
  • Reboot the system & press F8 and select last known good configuration
  • If these all are not working, please install the OS(XP,Vista or any of your choice) in any other partition and check weather the mouse is working. You can also use UBUNTU live to check the mouse's functionality. If the mouse is working properly then you can format the OS to regain the functionality of your mouse
Note: But these steps are applicable, only if your mouse is in good condition and having problem with driver.
